Stanly Community College (SCC) is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). Accreditation affirms that SCC provides a quality educational experience to all students. In preparation for its reaffirmation of SACSCOC accreditation in 2025, SCC embarked on a new Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) called LEAP.
The College’s overall goal with LEAP, which stands for Leadership, Employability, Accountability & Professionalism, is to enhance students’ employability skills to ensure they are workplace-ready upon leaving SCC.
