Underserved Student Transportation Grant (LCCCG)

To support the students who are experiencing transportation issues, SCC will provide a local transportation assistance program.

The LCCCG grant is awarded to current students who are faced with an unanticipated financial hardship and are experiencing transportation issues.

Amount of Award: 

• Up to $75.00 per month per student for transportation (gas)

Criteria:

• Be enrolled in a seated class at Stanly Community College in a curriculum program or an eligible workforce continuing education course leading to an industry-recognized credential.
• Be in good academic standing (have a GPA of 2.00 or higher).

Note:  The LCCCG grant has limited funding per academic year and is first come, first served.
