Description:
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) make a meaningful impact by helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live as independently and fully as possible. In this role, you’ll support daily living skills, promote inclusion, and advocate for those who need it most — work that is purposeful, rewarding, and in high demand.
This fully online, flexible 16-week course equips you with the skills and confidence to succeed in the field. Training covers:
- Principles of person-centered care
- Effective communication and relationship-building
- Health and safety practices
- Crisis prevention and behavioral support
- Ethics and professionalism in caregiving
Upon completion, you’ll receive a certificate to enhance your resume and open doors to career opportunities in healthcare and human services.
