Multi-Skilled Nurse Aide Certification Program

Description:

The goal of this program is to prepare students in a wide variety of nursing skills. The successful program completer will be able to perform higher level nurse aide skills, draw blood, and administer electrocardiograms (EKGs). The following classes are included in this certificate program:

1. Nurse Aide – Level I

2. Nurse Aide – Level II

3. Phlebotomy Technician

4. EKG Technician

5. Career Readiness Certificate

Additional Information:

We offer most of these classes in the spring, summer, and fall semesters. You have flexibility in how you schedule your classes. The only required order is that you complete Nurse Aide – Level I prior to enrolling in the Nurse Aide II or Phlebotomy classes. Students must have a US high school diploma or GED before starting the Multi-Skilled Nurse Aide Certification Program.

This program is currently approved for payment with WIA funds. However, please note that Stanly Community College cannot guarantee that WIA funds (disseminated through NC Works, Gaston Community Action, etc.) will pay for your classes.
