Employees assigned to an off campus workstation of Stanly Community College shall be subject to the policies and procedures applicable to that workstation.

  1. Failure of employees to comply with the policies and procedures applicable to the workstation will subject the employee to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment by the College.                                        
  2. Employees whose behavior/actions lead to being banned from the assigned workstation (i.e. Albemarle Correctional Institution, Stanly County Schools, etc.) will be terminated for lack of ability to carry out employment assignment.
  3. Remote work, also commonly called teleworking or telecommuting, is designated as a workstation for purposes of this policy.
